Finished your CIP 2 course before 30 June 2026? Your exam follows AMPP's earlier guide — 100 items, 2.5 hours, 11 domains. The subject matter is the same, so the question bank still applies; only the mock length and domain split differ. See what changed in the 2026 CIP Level 2 exam.
What the CoatMentor Level 2 track gives you
Loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) when you press play.
Three real-length timed mocks
120 questions, 170 minutes on the clock, blueprint-weighted across the 10 domains, with a question navigator to revisit and change answers — the same geometry as exam day.
A worked explanation on every item
Not just the correct letter: why it's right, where the trap is, and which standard clause it comes from. Standard numbers are checked at source, and facts are checked against a pack of sources that we have verified.
Per-domain feedback
After every mock you see exactly which scoring domains cost you marks — then spaced review brings back the questions you missed until the weak domain holds.
The question style — judge it yourself
A real item from the free readiness check, as you see it after you answer.

- Most items give a result to judge, as on the job: here a pull-off test below its minimum, with a section of the break.
- Every answer opens a worked explanation: the code of the break, what it points to, and the usual trap.
- The drawing shows each place a pull-off test can break and its ISO 4624 code, from the steel to the dolly.
- Right by luck? Mark it as a guess, and the report counts it as a gap.
- The track’s 500+ questions explain every answer the same way.
